Audience Research
I needed to get some research from my target audience to see exactly what it was that they liked. Upon showing people my newspaper I devised some questions to find out what my intended audience think about my work.
These questions were:
These questions were:
1) Which shops do you think my newspaper would be distributed in?
2) Which elements in my newspaper appeal to you personally?
3) What are your overall views on my newspaper as a brand?
1) My audience mostly thought that my paper would be distributed in newsagents and large supermarkets like Waitrose. They also thought that my paper might be distributed by booksellers and in garages.
2) The stories about sport and the story about the nightclub seemed to appeal to my audience most, along with the "smaller articles about local people". Somebody also said that the front page headlines were done well and that the stories were "interesting and relevant".
3) When asked on their overall views on my newspaper, some people said that the headline font was a bit "weird" and that my paper was "too blue", but altogether the reviews were pretty good, with my paper being described as "decent", "interesting" and "fresh and gritty".

Evaluation
At first I definitely was not looking forward to having to make the evaluation for my project. It seemed like a difficult task that was going to take a long time to complete.
Although, after starting it and getting into the right mood, I shot my whole evaluation in one day. I will still probably need to replace some parts with re-shot scenes, but I am still happy that I have managed to get all of the raw footage taken care of.
There is also a lot of editing to be done to make sure that the ICT area of the evaluation is up to scratch, and this will mostly involve adding text and images to the shot as I am speaking.
